Second course on SWAT modelling

SWAT – Soil and Water Assessment Tool – is a much used modelling tool for simulation of catchment processes. BIOWATER’s first course in this model was held during the last week of May 2018, at the University of Aarhus.

A new SWAT Course is now planned for 27-29 May 2019 in the Department of Bioscience, Aarhus University Campus, Aarhus, see full information in this document: SWAT Course (2)

This course will be a follow up of the basic course held last year, and students will now acquire a working, state-of-the-art knowledge of the basic concepts and methods used in SWAT. In this regard the objectives of the course are:

Problem solving related to set up, calibration and validation of the catchment model of students own study catchments.

The course gives 2 ECTS.

Maximum number of participants is 9, incluidng BIOWATER PhDs.

Deadline for registration is 15 March 2019. Information regarding admission will be send out no later than 1 April 2019.
